The garage of the home is attached and is a 2 car garage with a double door, that has an automatic garage door opener, by Chamberlain. The garage door opener has some of the newer features including sensors for obstruction (safety eye beam), that force the door to automatically reverse when an obstruction is sensed. The garage door opener also has a more advanced switch that has a lockout capability, the ability to lockout garage door opener remote use when you're away for an extended period. The home comes with a single garage door opener remote, but easily learns additional ones you can buy from any home improvement center.

The garage is finished with drywall, as you can tell from the pictures, and is pre-plumbed for a water softener. You can see the copper pipes in the picture on the right. In addition, shelving has been added to the garage for additional storage. On one side and against the back wall of the garage shelving is built against the ceiling to let you keep items up and out of the way of any vehicles parked in the garage.
On the other side of the garage, there's floor to almost ceiling shelves built, with a knockout built into the middle shelf as you can see to the left, that gives you room to open a car door to make getting in and out of your vehicle easy.

The garage is also the location of the home's water heater, which is next to the garage entry door to the home.
The exterior of the garage features two exterior lamps, mounted to the right and left of the garage door. These are operated by a switch located in the living room, but you can leave these permanently on, since they are wired to a dawn-to-dusk sensor, making sure they are off during the day, and on at night.
Also as you can see the landscaping has fully grown in around the home, and you have the added benefit that the grounds around the house (with the exception of the private side yard) are maintained by the Homeowner's Association (HOA).
