- Kraftmaid Sandlewood Maple Cabinetry - These are an upgrade from the basic oak cabinets that normally come with the base KB Home (these cabinets have recessed panels that are heavy weight and as thick as the frame of the door - you'll notice the standard cabinets that came with homes that weren't upgraded have a very thin recessed panel).
- Additional cabinet over the refrigerator. The cabinet over the refrigerator was added only a few years ago. We went out and found a Kraftmaid cabinet dealer who could sell us a matching cabinet and crown molding and do the installation over the refrigerator, so there's extra cabinet space and a more completed look to the kitchen
- Self-cleaning gas stove / oven - the standard oven / stove included in the base home did not include a self-clean function, and did not have very good heat insulation (you could feel the heat emanating from the oven when it was turned on), so we upgraded to a self-cleaning, well insulated Amana stove.
- Heavyweight chrome finish egg-shaped knobs for all cabinet doors and drawers (standard cabinets did not include knobs)
- White porcelain finish double kitchen sink - Standard home included a thin and shallow stainless steel sink.
- New glass tile backsplash (pattern and color called Sedona Blend) was added over the faux stone laminate counter top.
- Bar height counter in the kitchen (the base kitchen did not include a counter area, this was an upgrade).
- Garbage disposal - the kitchen sink is equipped with a garbage disposal
- Full pantry, there is a closet with full pantry shelving in the kitchen
- Sale includes a Whirlpool white side-by-side refrigerator which has an ice maker, and built-in filtered water and ice dispenser in the door
- Stone tile appearance vinyl laminate flooring in the kitchen, laundry and half bath area.
- Pre-wired for electrical outlets under the bar counter (there are two pre-wired sockets for outlets, so that all you need to do if you want an outlet below the counter is to add a receptacle).
- Recessed overhead lighting in the kitchen area
