OnQ LeGrand Smart / Structured Wiring

The home at 24 W. Paseo Celestial was built with smart / structured wiring in place at the time of the construction, making easy to add TV / Cable / Satellite / Internet / Phone ports into almost every room in the house. There are already smart jacks located in each of the bedrooms, the loft, and the living area of the home. Connecting a service to any of the smart jacks in the home is as easy as visiting the structured wiring box located in the walk-in closet of the master bedroom.

Each of the jacks in the home has coaxial cable (for TV antenna, cable, or satellite TV) as well as category 5 cable (for internet/ethernet or phone connections).  Some jacks have two coax and two category 5 cables going to them (like the one in the living room).

The structured wiring box has all the coax and category 5 cables running in the box, with a coax splitter already installed.  An ethernet hub is an easy addition since there's also a 110 volt outlet already installed in the base of the box as well, but with today's wifi routers, you may find ethernet not necessary.

For satellite, cable, and/or internet the new homeowner can choose Cox Communications, Centurylink, DirecTV, dishNetwork, and others.  Many of these providers also provide phone service.  Most homeowners in the Rancho Sahurita area use Cox, as indicated by the Rancho Sahuarita website.
